Hi Reader, I’m always looking for ways to help the folks who come to see me for Ayurveda consultations, attend my yoga classes either online or live in San Francisco (prenatal), or follow along here on my mailing list to slow down, reconnect, and nourish their whole selves. My love for Yoga and Ayurveda began when I was a young adult, and these timeless practices have served me deeply through all stages of life. I want to help you experience that same support and steadiness. That’s why I’m so excited to invite you to my brand-new workshop: Glow & Flow: Make Your Own Ayurvedic Massage Oil + Restorative Yoga This will be the first time I’ve offered this kind of experience—and I can't wait to share it with you! In this 90-minute workshop, we’ll explore one of my favorite Ayurvedic rituals: Abhyanga, or self-oil massage. You’ll discover your Ayurvedic dosha (Vata, Pitta, or Kapha), blend a personalized massage oil, and learn a calming ritual you can do at home for daily nourishment. We’ll close with a gentle, restorative yoga sequence to help everything land—body, mind, and spirit. You’ll leave with:
Spots are limited, so I can keep this experience personal and hands-on. Workshop Details: If you're new here—or we haven’t connected in a while—I’m Marisa. I’m a Clinical Ayurveda Specialist, yoga teacher, and longtime wellness educator. Many of you may remember me as the founder of Yoga Garden SF, now Folk Yoga. I’ve spent the past two decades weaving ancient wisdom into modern life, and I love making self-care feel soulful, grounded, and totally doable. I’d truly love to have you with me for this one. Come glow. Come fill your cup. 🍵
